The 32-year-old actor, who was last seen in romantic film ‘London, Paris, New York’, will also compose the music for director E Nivas’s film.

“My next feature, a rom-com is tentatively named ‘Aman ki Asha’ opposite Yami Gautam written and produced by Neeraj Panday and directed by E Nivas.

“I have also been asked to write and compose the music for the same. First song for which is being recorded in the studio,” he posted on Twitter.

Zafar, who started his Bollywood journey with ‘Tere Bin Laden’, is also gearing up for ‘Chashme Buddoor’ remake, which will hit theatres on February 22 next year.

Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif starrer JTHJ was released on 2,500 screens and it has reportedly collected Rs.15.23 crore all over India. The Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt starrer SOS collected Rs.10.72 crore from 2,000 screens in the country.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh says it is the “best Diwali for Bollywood”.

“In mass circuits, SOS is ahead and at multiplexes, JTHJ takes a lead. As per early trends, JTHJ is ahead of SOS in India. But, both are winners at the box-office. This is the biggest and best Diwali for Bollywood. The business of JTHJ and SOS will be the biggest ever,” Adarsh tweeted.

Rajesh Thadani, Multimedia Combines, Mumbai, told IANS that both films are doing very well.

“`Son Of Sardaar` is doing well in single screens and `Jab Tak Hai Jaan` is doing well in multiplexes. Looking at the reports, I am sure SOS will pick up and do well in a couple of days,” he added.

There has been a lot of pre-release buzz around both JTHJ and SOS. Plus they have the advantage of festive occasion and extended weekend to mint more money.

Anant Verma, director and business head of DT Cinemas, told IANS: “Both the films have opened well with almost equal occupancy at our cinemas. We gave equal capacity and almost same number of shows to both. We are looking at a decent occupancy till Sunday. Friday morning shows will dip a little, but overall till Sunday all cinemas will do well. Families, youngsters and couples are coming to watch SOS and JTHJ.”

Produced by Aditya Chopra, late filmmakers Yash Chopra`s last directorial JTHJ has reportedly been made at a budget of Rs.50 crore, while director Ashwni Dhir`s SOS said to be costlier with Rs.80 crore expenses.

Sanjay Ghai of Mukta Arts predicts the films to cross Rs.100 crore collection mark.

“They have the potential to cross Rs.100 crore. Yesterday both the films opened at 90 percent occupancy, which was expected and today both JTHJ and SOS are going houseful,” Ghai told IANS.

Extensively shot in Turkey and Cyprus, the film stars Anil Kapoor, Ameesha Patel, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead role. Anil Kapoor will enact the role of detective Robert D’Costa and Ameesha will play his assistant. Saif will again recreate the role of Ranvir Singh, a ruthless businessman.

The first trailer and posters of the movie was released online and it went viral on net. The trailer and posters are highly searched and it became a huge hit on net.’Race 2′ promises double dose of romance, betrayal, hate, conspiracy. The film rides high on thrill and it is high on glamor.

‘Race’ was 2008 blockbuster and the music of the film also hit the music chartbuster. Directed by Abbas Mustan and produced by Ramesh Tarauni, the film is scheduled to release on 25 January 2013. All the stars of the movie had undergone rigorous training to get into the skin of the character. Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone worked on their fitness to fit the role. John has been trained by international expert for his role. All the stars of the movie were put on special diet. Ameesha Patel who will be seen after a long time has shed oodles of weight.

The title of Yash Chopra’s swan-song has a retrospective bitter-sweetness to it : the veteran director did not live to see his film in the theatres. ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ has released, in old YRF tradition, on Deepawali, but what the title manages to say pithily takes the fllm nearly three very long hours, and the pay-off isn’t as sweet as it should have been.

The story may be set in today’s times, but the theme is very Yash Chopra, wherein true love happens only once in a lifetime, and it trumps all else. Samar Anand ( SRK) has two lives, and two ladies. He oscillates between London and Leh, and between the rich miss Meera Thapar ( Kaif) and the spunky go-getter Akira Rai ( Sharma) : the London-Meera axis happens pre-interval, wherein Samar plays a busker warbling sufi geet, a waiter and a supermarket assistant, and managing to romance his pretty lass on the side; in the second half, he plays a dishy stubbled bomb disposal expert in Ladakh and the Kashmir valley, being stalked by gutsy Dilli girl Akira who is dying to be a reporter with the Discovery channel.

There’s welcome detailing in Aditya Chopra’s story, which should have turned into a crackling romance in his seasoned father’s hands. But the film bumps along the twists that are telegraphed miles ahead, and gets stuck in the oldest shtick in the world : a lead character suffers from a bang on the head, twice, and, believe it or faint, memory loss. So you don’t quite get a ‘main kahaan hoon, main kaun hoon’ kind of solemnly-intoned ‘retrograde amnesia’, but it’s close. There are also a few laugh out loud sequences while sundry bombs are being disposed, but I’m not going to spoil them for you : you need to experience the hilarity first hand.

Chopra’s trademark expertise in keeping the drama at just the right pitch is not always evident. Not all the songs have a strong emotional connect, and the A R Rahman soundtrack doesn’t quite overwhelm either. I loved the ‘Challa’ song, though : in its sweep and its lyrics, it encompasses the kind of romance that was completely Yash Chopra’s. Of the two ladies, Kaif rises to the occasion only occasionally, and Sharma’s bubbliness, though nice, seems stretched.

Finally, though, what keeps you with the film is Shah Rukh Khan who is first-rate. He pulls every familiar trick of his, and he comes up with a couple we haven’t seen before. This is the star in a lover boy avatar we haven’t seen him in for a long time, and this is what lets him shed his clown-self, and allows his ladies to swoon. Fittingly, Yash Chopra’s final film will be remembered for the guy who gave the director a boost when he needed it, back then with ‘Darr’. Watch this one for Shah Rukh, who can still do the dimpled boy wonder and the older, mature lover with a wry smile and wounded wink and sexy nudge.

Sharing her excitement the adult star said that she, with her husband, has been shopping like maniacs all over Mumbai on the Diwali festivity.

Sunny said, “I am spending my first Diwali in my new home with my husband. We have been invited to celebrate the festival of lights with Pooja Bedi and friends.”

Movie Start’s With Jassi Randhawa a happy-go-lucky young Sardaar (Ajay Devgn) who has no idea whatsoever about his family’s action-filled murky past and the legendary feud between his family, Randhawas and the archrivals Sandhus. He Realises that when his colleague discloses certain secrets that Jassi learns about his family and about his ancestral property at his native place in Punjab. He decides to go the village. On his journey, Jassi bumps into Sukh ( Sonakshi Sinha) and both fall in love with each other, but neither confesses their true feelings. Once landed in his Village, Jassi realises that Sukh belongs to the Sandhus’ family headed by the mighty Ranvijay Singh ( Sanjay Dutt). Things become worse when both Jassi and Ranvijay know that they are enemies because of that infamous bloody saga that took place 25 years ago.

Ranvijay is now thirsty for Jassi’s blood,but can’t kill him so long as Jassi remains his guest. (Atithi Devo Bhav, you see!) Even Jassi knows that the moment he steps out of Ranvijay’s house he will be chopped into pieces by his otherwise warm, welcoming and large-hearted host. If one tries every trick in the book to stay inside the house, the other uses every possible strategy to drive the young Sardaar out. Son Of Sardaar is the tale of who outwits the other and how. Will Jassi win Ranvijay over with his values, his might and his honesty to marry the mundi ( Sonakshi) from the house, and most importantly to escape from the almost certain clutches of death.

Ajay Devgan has already proved his brilliance in comedy with earlier hits Golmal and Bol Bacchcan and expected to repeat the same. Sonakshi Sinha look fabulous as usual and Sanjay Dutt as feudal lord looks giant.

Overall, the stage is all set for a great comedy film at the end of the year. So, watch out for Son of Sardar for some hilarious time pass.

Chulbul 'Salman' Pandey is back with Dabangg 2'. The film will hit the screens on December 21, 2012.

The bone of contention was Gunday, a Yash Raj Films production, which features Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor in the cast. Turns out the role was initially offered to Kat but as she had already given her dates for the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film Knight And Day, co-starring Hrithik Roshan, there was no way she could do another film in the same time bracket.

Katrina who is looking forward to the release of Jab Tak Hai Jaan with Shah Rukh Khan, claims that such talk amuses her. “Most of what has been said so far doesn’t even make sense. Some films — if not all — are indeed offered to me. Some of them are those that I want that I don’t get and some of them are those that I get but I don’t want. Now, I don’t sit down and dissect who got what once I left the table. At the end of the day, what matters to me are the films I’ve decided to go with. I just prepare myself to give my 100 per cent to the projects I’ve signed.”

Well, there’s nothing wrong in hoping for a Katfight in B-Town over a role!
