SOS vs JTHJ spins: Kajol was not invited for JTHJ premiere

Was she invited or wasn’t she? Was the question on everyone’s mind when Kajol did not turn up for the premiere of Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

There were also rumours about Kajol making a quiet entry at the premiere avoiding the assembled media.

Finally putting speculation to rest, husband Ajay Devgn says that Kajol didn’t receive an invite to the event.

“Talking about Kajol not attending Jab Tak Hai Jaan premiere, I just have to say that it’s not her fault, she wasn’t invited,” Ajay Devgn said. Ajay Devgn didn’t mince his words and also called it very petty.

All the leading ladies of Yash Raj films were invited for the premiere but Kajol who acted in Dilwale Duhaniya Le Jayenge, one of the most successful movie of the banner, was ignored.

After the battle lines were drawn between Ajay Devgn and Yash Raj Films, all eyes were on Kajol and everyone wanted to know whose side she is on.

Initially, Kajol decided to keep quiet on the controversy but could not stay away for long. While in Dubai, Kajol made it clear that she is firmly on her husband’s side.

I’m supporting Son of Sardar, it is my film, it is my home production,” she said.

Ajay Devgn accused Yash Raj Films of using their influence to keep his film Son Of Sardaar out of theatres in favour of Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Both films released on November 13.

Son Of Sardaar has already collected approximately Rs.76 crore at the box office in just eight days.

Ajay Devgn is very happy with the response and will soon throw a success party. And for that party Kajol will be invited for sure!
