Ranbir Kapoor planted a make-believe kiss on his Barfi! director's lips recently. Veena Malik cosied up with her Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai director Hemant Madhukar. Rani Mukherji and Vidya Balan also faked a liplock during No One Killed Jessica promotions. While all this happens, we wonder how film promotions are getting bolder with each passing day.

Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu: Ranbir Kapoor shocked media at the promotion of Barfi! by kissing director Anurag Basu. When Ranbir Kapoor is asked how comfortable he was while kissing his Barfi! co-star Ileana D'Souza, the actor grabbed director Anurag Basu and faked a liplock.

Ranbir said that as an actor, one has to do one’s job ... if you believe in the scene, you have to do it.

Veena Malik and Hemant Madhukar: Veena Malik's intimate pictures with filmmaker Hemant Madhukar got leaked on the net. While the Pakistani actor got embroiled in another controversy, it was not difficult to guess that it was a publicity stunt for their upcoming film Mumbai 125km.

Sara Khan and Pooja Bose: Sara put up the photograph of her liplock with actor Pooja Bose as her BlackBerry display picture. But within hours, she took it off. It was reportedly for the promotion of TV serial Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna.

Sushmita Sen and Randeep Hooda: Actor Randeep Hooda was majorly upset after the production house of their film Karma, Confessions and Holi released pictures of him kissing Sushmita Sen.

"I'm disgusted by the producers. Surely they've got more to attract the public to the theatres than a kiss between two actors? By flashing one scene, they're just being cheap and undignified in their promotion. May be they need a less cheesy publicity machinery," Randeep had told IANS.

Veena Malik and Bobby Darling: At a surprise birthday party thrown for her in Mumbai, actor Veena Malik managed to surprise others as she locked lips with actor Bobby Darling. Veena was photographed at the party on Sunday, being kissed by Bobby, her co-star in her film, Daal Mein Kucch Kaala Hai. “Veena and I share a very good relationship. I love her. We greet each other like this every time. Why do people have a problem with our way of greeting each other?” says Bobby.

Rani Mukherji and Vidya Balan: To clarify rumours about their catfight, Rani Mukherji and Vidya Balan did a mock kiss for the media.
Rani: So what about the rumours that we had problems?
Vidya: Well lovers' tiff happen, I get upset, you placate me, you get upset, and I placate you. Sometimes flowers work.
