Kareena Kapoor starts shooting for Dabangg 2 item number Fevicol
The diva returns to the sets after marriage to shoot the item number
Post the hustle-bustle of her iconic wedding, Kareena Kapoor is back on the scene, and she’s going to start things on a peppy note. Barely weeks after tying the knot with Saif Ali Khan, Bebo is back to Mehboob studio to start work on her item number Fevicol for Dabangg 2.
The song, which is in the zone of the Dabangg brand of humour and quirkiness, sees Kareena borrowing her sister Karisma Kapoor’s kurta and dhoti look from the 90s movie Raja Babu. In the song, Bebo is sporting an oversized yellow shirt and a large nose ring, and the song apparently is being stylised based on the old-world Lucknow, and is inspired by Lucknowi courtesans.
The concept of the song does sound exciting, and we can’t help but wonder what is with the Dabangg makers inserting FMCG items in their item songs! At first it was Zandu Balm, and now Fevicol! Are they trying to explore in-house branding opportunities, or is it for good luck? Sounds fun, but it beats us!
