Check out: Shahid Kapoor takes Ileana for a scooter ride
The sight of Shahid Kapoor all rigged up as a cop and riding a scooter with the pretty Ileana D’Cruzsitting pillion did bring a smile to our face. Not only is the pairing farm fresh, Shahid’s look as a cop is amusing.
The duo obviously wasn’t out on a date in the open glare of the cameras. They were rather shooting for their film Phata Poster Nikla Hero, being directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The film is about a young boy who wants to be a superstar despite his mother’s protestations. Shahid Kapoor plays the role of a guy named Vishwas Rao.
“This film is a full-fledged masala entertainer with elements of romance and action. It is an original story and not a remake,” producer Ramesh Taurani had said a while back. 
Taurani and Shahid Kapoor were in talks for the film since the start of this year but it was only by July end that the actor gave his nod. Shahid has two other projects in hand — Maneesh Sharma’s (of ‘Band Bajaa Baraat’ fame) next with Yash Raj Films and other with Prabhu Deva.
Phata Poster Nikla Hero is Ileana D’ Cruz’s second Bollywood film after the critically acclaimed Barfi!for which she’s already won accolades.
The film’s shooting is presently underway. The movie will release in 2013.
